Manipur’s Brave Army: Averted Disaster in Seconds!
The Army in Manipur successfully thwarted an arson attempt and prevented the potential loss of lives and property in Kangpokpi district. On the evening of August 31, 2023, an Indian Army unit near Chingmang village observed flames and smoke emanating from an empty house.
They responded swiftly, securing the area and deploying three Army water bowsers to the scene. Thanks to their rapid intervention, the fire was swiftly contained and extinguished.
Simultaneously, combing operations were launched to apprehend those responsible for the attempted arson, with the cooperation of local residents. The motive behind the arson seemed to be an attempt to disrupt the peace in the area.
Authorities have been informed, and the police are investigating the incident with the aim of identifying and prosecuting those involved. The Army’s prompt action effectively prevented the fire from engulfing the house and spreading to nearby properties, ensuring the safety of the community.
