Mind-Blowing Transformation: From Pakistan Flags to Tricolours, The Astonishing Shift in Kashmir Revealed!
Prior to 2014, the Pakistani flag used to fly high in Jammu & Kashmir’s Lal Chowk, but the situation has drastically changed now, according to Harsh Sanghavi, the Minister of State for Home. Sanghavi commended the efforts of the Central government, highlighting a significant transformation. He noted that in the years preceding 2014, it was a common sight to witness Pakistan’s flags being raised on August 15. However, the scenario has evolved, and today, the family members of alleged terrorists are proudly hoisting the Indian Tricolour.
Sanghavi pointed out a recent incident where the brother of a high-profile terrorist, Javed Matto, named Rayees Mattoo, along with his family members, jointly unfurled the Indian national flag outside their residence in Sopore, Jammu & Kashmir. He shared this news while participating in the Tiranga Yatra event in Surat. He mentioned that earlier, the Lal Chowk area in Kashmir was notorious for locals hoisting Pakistan’s national flag, but now a positive shift has occurred, symbolized by the display of the Indian Tricolour by the local population.
A viral video has captured the moment when Rayees Mattoo raised the Tricolour at his home, circulating widely on various social media platforms. This incident reflects the changing sentiment in the region, as the Indian national flag proudly waves in places where a different flag once dominated the skyline.
