Ukraine’s Shocking Retaliation: Unleashes Cluster Bombs on Russian Troops in Gritty Counteroffensive Triumph! Must-Watch Footage
Ukraine Unleashes Cluster Bombs on Russian Troops in Counteroffensive Victory
A shocking event has unfolded as Ukraine employs drastic measures against Russian troops, resulting in a significant counteroffensive success. A disturbing video shows Russian soldiers being affected by Ukraine’s cluster munitions as they try to escape from the village of Urozhaine.
The village had endured a relentless assault by Kyiv’s forces, including its entire marine corps, for months. Strategically positioned on the route to Mariupol, Urozhaine had served as a crucial stronghold for Russian forces.
As the Russian garrison initiated its retreat, they did so on foot, clearly visible to Ukrainian reconnaissance drones.
Two videos released by Ukraine’s Ministry of Defence reveal columns of Russian soldiers hurriedly advancing down a road, dangerously exposed. Unfortunately, this tactical error led to a devastating outcome.
In the initial video, an artillery shell impact knocks Russian soldiers to the ground upon detonation. Subsequently, in the second video, Ukraine launches another strike using cluster bombs on the retreating column, inflicting heavy casualties on the vulnerable soldiers.
While the precise number of Russian troops killed in the attack remains uncertain, the submunitions from M483A1 cluster bombs are known for their capability to penetrate armor and incapacitate personnel. Each explosive bomblet can potentially target armored vehicles, and in this instance, they appear to have caused significant harm to the exposed Russian forces.
News of the village’s recapture surfaced on Saturday, leading Russian military bloggers to lament Ukraine’s significant victory. Some bloggers criticized Russia’s 37th Brigade tank forces for failing to support infantry, citing issues with alcohol consumption and lack of discipline among officers.
However, not all analysts agree on the complete Ukrainian control of the village. The Institute for the Study of War stated that confirmation of Russian forces’ complete withdrawal from Urozhaine is lacking, suggesting that Russian troops may still maintain positions, particularly in the southern part of the settlement.
Recent geo-located videos have indicated Ukrainian forces entering central Urozhaine, marking a crucial step in Kyiv’s strategy to advance down the Mokri Yaly River Valley towards Mariupol and the Black Sea.
This offensive effort appears to involve the entire Ukrainian marine corps, with intense battles unfolding on this small 10-mile section of the southern front. The subsequent target on this axis, among several others leading to Mariupol, is the heavily fortified Staromlynivka.
If Ukrainian forces manage to reach the occupied city, approximately 50 miles from Urozhaine, it could effectively divide Russian forces within the country. This strategic move could have significant implications for the ongoing conflict.
